Technology Education focuses on the study of technology, technological literacy, the use of technical means and processes to solve practical problems, and the impact of technology on individuals and society.
Students are challenged to discover, create, solve problems, and construct solutions through hands on, experience-based learning. By applying science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) principles, students use a variety of tools, machines, computer systems, materials, and processes to discover technological systems in areas such as, but not limited to: construction, manufacturing, communications, transportation, biotechnology, and power and energy.
